Has anyone purchased one of these new manufacture 1917 Italian icon

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I ordered one for a friend, 6 months ago or so, and i looked at it quickly when i received it.
Very nice wood (not fancy) and well made.
I believe he told me he had very little fitting to do.

I think these originate from Minelli SpA. This company is known for selling 1903(A3) stocks to various retailers, so why not also 1917 stocks, especially if they mention they come from Italy icon

..

I have used Minelli stocks on A3's. Very good fit, only minor relief on the sides of the tang. They, to me, are much better than Boyd's.

I was not under the impression the Model of 1917 is a Lee Enfield Rifle icon

Seriously though: them not listing this on their website doesn't mean they don't make it. Seems they have a production facility in the US as well. Maybe done there and therefore not listed on the Italian icon
