Beware - possible scam by Garret243

I've been advised by member “altadiver" to check the following new member.

Member Garret243 joined 07-16-2021 using email address alfredjekinson243@gmail.com.

He's already sent several PM's (Private Messages) for different items to other members here, asking them to contact him at (505) 370 8550.

He says he’s in New Mexico which matches the phone number, but his IP addresses trace to Washington State, Missouri and New York, amongst others.

He’s made 20 posts just designed to pump up his post count so he can appear more legitimate. He’s sent multiple PM’s to members about WTB items he claims to have for sale.

If you have sent him money, I’d advise you STOP payment if possible.

I have deleted ALL of his PM's and all of his public posts.

These scammers are getting more sophisticated, so “Caveat Emptor”.

I've permanently banned him.

Note: To reduce fraudulent activity, we do not allow re-direction selling on our site, which means using our PM (Private Messaging) system instructing another member to contact third parties at a different email address than the one registered with our site. Only direct sales from our WTS/WTB/WTT classifieds area. Anyone doing this will be immediately banned for life without any recourse.
