    Happy Holidays and Thanks

Just a short note to wish Y'all the very best for the remainder of the holidays from a soggy South Carolina. May you have a safe and prosperous New Year. A VERY SPECIAL THANKS to those of you who've patronized my business, many being long term repeat customers and ALL of the military folks serving in these unstable times. I hope to be able to serve you again in 2010. Brian

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... Very best wishes to you too Brian, well said. My personal touch to this would be to add an especially warm "thanks" to all those who keep helping me as I constantly learn more about Lee Enfield Riflesicon...

To everyone: stay safe on the road, and don't forget to hug all your loved ones

Thanks Brian for you provided the Canadianicon Bren transit case I use for my longbranch "T". The REL scope/ mount does not match the rifle either. I do what I can do. Some day I may make a match. You are invaluable. Stay there. Again thanks, Gary

Wow, I forgot about that one! I've still got one modified Bren chest here for the No.4T. Any other takers?

I've got plenty of mismatch scopes too to include my Trials "T" and 1941 BSA/H&H. All of my remaining LB No.4 T's except for one have mismatch scopes fitted. That includes 1943, 1944 and 1944(TP), although the late, great Pete Bloom managed to find me the Lyman scope that is one serial number off the original which is as good as matching in my book! It's just a fact of life when these rifles are sixty-plus years old.

Sign me up for the Bren Chest. I've got a (T) that will fill it right!

    Trials

And Brian, I'd like you to take a look at my 1930 No.4 Mk1, and see if it's worthy of a restoration. I'm not sure the mounts are ligit, based on the look of the screw heads, (I'll take some pics and post them). The sight ears and charger bridge were milled off, and a wierd looking muzzle break mounted.
Given the amount of work Paul did on 0C1, this work is POSSIBLE; not sure if it's worth it.
Gotta have something to do, you know!

Bring it over and we can compare it to my well used but honest Trials T.

The chest is here and yours when you're ready. It's buried in a corner someplace!

Don't forget to email me directly so I can send you the LB list. . I lost your email address in the crash of August.
