Some Stock Work At Frank's Stock Sickbay

I've been working on 8 stocks and 14 hangaurds for a fellow member of the forum.
This is a real nice oval cut highwood Winchester that someone tried to "ENHANCE" the WRA on the right side.
Boy you have to hate that (just leave them alone)!!
Anyway we decided to erase the botched up job with plugs that were a common repair. The pictures show how I did it.
The laser guided drill press put the holes exactly were they needed to be.
Then it was back to the old method of hand sanding and staining. Oiling is next and job done.....Frank

Is there no end to what people will do? A hand stamp Winchester stock. What next.
