Surplus Military & Civilian rifles - reasonable

I just thought I would send this information along to the members. There are a lot of surplus Military and Sporting rifles available here in Canadaicon at very reasonable prices. The dealer has a website, where each individual rifle is shown, along with descriptions and prices. Probably one of the best kept secrets for Canadian Gun buyers today.

The website is Tradeexcanada.com . ( Note the one word, with two E in TradEExcanada.com. There is an 800 phone number, the owner's name is Anthony. It is located just outside Montreal.

I have ordered three rifles from him, and am well pleased. The prices are very reasonable, his descriptions are actually very conservative ( a welcome change ).

My first one was a Husqvarna Sporter in 9.3x57mm calibre. The serial numbers placed it as a 1930 production. When I got it, I actually had to clean grease out of the magazine well and action. Cost? $260 Canadian.

I liked it so well, I ordered a 8x57mm Husqvarna Commercial Sporter. This one was 1944 production, and as it was intended as a hunting rifle, it has a Husqvarna side safety, factory bent bolt handle, and a LARGE winter bolt knob. It came with a Tasco 4X post and crosshair scope and cost me the grand sum of $275 Canadian.

My third order, a .22 rimfire is on the way. Shipping is $25.

In talking with Anthony, apparently there are agents in Swedenicon who are buying these at gunshops, estates, and surrendered firearms from police, then shipping them in bulk lots, thus keeping the prices down.

ALSO, there are quite a few SWEDISH CG-63 TARGET RIFLES AVAILABLE, WITH SIGHTS, FOR AROUND THE $600 RANGE.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Thanks for the heads up....

We've previously listed his site in our Commercial Auction/Sale "Gossip" Forum (click here), along with many others that sell old milsurps and accessories.

I have bought from Anthony a few things over the years and also found him to good to deal with. He's more than welcome to advertise here in our Quartermaster Stores (click here), if he'd like.

    Regards,
    Badger
