Lee-Enfield butt stock extensions, looking for photos
I'm looking for a few pictures of Lee-Enfield butt stocks that have been lengthened in service. I was talking to a well respected member here recently about these and am trying to follow up with leads on a photo or two so I can try to duplicate what was done to these butts on a project rifle I have here. Wondering if anyone has any photos and wouldn't mind posting them?
Thanks a bunch!

Dad, thank you very much! I've been looking all over for a few days and had come up with nothing. Now I have an idea of what to do, I'm going to need some practice dovetailing to try and do a good job at that, but I think it looks quite good in the end and am excited to fix an otherwise unobtainable Ross stock in this manor. There is a bubba Lee-Enfield plate here to practice on first and lots of spare wood to work with before that point even. I'll be doing it all by hand. Wish me luck!

Just seen those pics again and remember showing the quality of the wood working to some othere apprentice Armourers. If you can get your like that, you should be quids in Flying Pig.
Just as a matter of interest, TBone is a quality cabinet maker and could do this sort of work(?) Maybe there's a good quality Canadian forum chippy up there who could help you..........

I have a good friend here who is a cabinet maker/very skilled woodworker. I'll take it over to him and see if he'd like to give me a hand at it, if not I will maybe send TBone a Pm and see if I can twist his arm. I'm getting better with doing repairs and working with wood in general but this is out of my league right now. Still going to try it on some scrap for fun though.
