Can anyone help me find....
Hi everyone,
Can someone help me to find a Jungle Carbine nose cap.
I have a 45 dated one which someone has cut the cone off.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers, Steve

Hi Steve try Lawrance Ordnance over in Oz.

Have they cut the cap and wood off? If so, it'll be noticeably shorter with a replacement nose cap. If they've just taken the cap off, then why not just make the wood off to replicate a 'no-cap' fore-end. That's what we used to do with fore-ends in Malaya where they'd rusted out between the wood and the metal

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the reply, I need the flash suppressor. I should have used the correct terminology.
Will try Lawrence Ordnance but last time I tried to get something from them they said they couldn't send weapon parts to NZ.
Thanks, Steve

Heard the Numrich ones are not the best quality.

Thanks everyone, I got a reply from Lawrence Ordnance today. They are not allowed to post weapons parts out of Aussie.
I'm trying some of NZ's bigger gunsmiths at the moment.
Yes Peter a breakdown in communication, and we're both EME, that can't be good.
I work at the Artillery Regt Wksp here in NZ.
Mechanic though, not Armourer.
Cheers, Steve

Arte et Marte Peter, I'm in Palmerston North at Linton Military Camp.
