Movie with No4 T/ Commonwealth small arms.

I watched a decent movie called the Siege of Jadotvillee on Netflix last night. The company sniper/marksman utilized a No4 T throughout the movie. Interesting premise. Based on a true story as the credits read. Tonnes of .303 flying down range! FYI

I agree 100%. Excellent movie and very well presented. I double-checked the story behind it and the facts don't seem too far off.

The No. 4T did it's work and did it well. No over-the-top shooting or wild, unbelievable shooting around corners or glancing projectiles off surfaces to hit a target. Just hard work, very obviously dangerous in the extreme and so far from the usual movie nonsense as to make one believe it was a close portrayal of reality.

    See it if you can.

    Siege of Jadotville - Wikipedia

At one stage in the conflict, a mission to bring in water by air was successful, but due to the use of contaminated containers (previously used to store petrol), the water was largely undrinkable.
What would the WWI vets say to that!?
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.
