    Cool poster. Interesting note: it appears that the rifle is an M1903, but the grips on the bayonet appear consistant with the M1917 bayo. Thanks for sharing.

    I expect that the artist had a 1903 and a 1917 bayonet (or maybe just pictures) to use as models and not knowing anything about either one, just put the bayonet on the rifle, at least on paper.
