    I'm a softie for 5 digits...

I was at the CMPicon North Store and came across this one in the woodless rack. Besides the very nice condition early receiver, the trigger group contained just the three WRA parts that I needed to make up another complete WRA trigger group.

    revision number

I would think your receiver is a revision 2 but could you check as a revision 1 would be kind of rare to find !

Yes, it is a revision 2. That was one of the first things I checked. My other receiver, serial number 49797 is a revision 1. Both have had the 7th. round modification done to them.

13.6 miles and I'd be broke! Nice find!

I received a 5-digit stripped receiver through mail order from the CMPicon in the 17XXX range a while back. I have a parts kit and barrel along with a DuPage "seconds" stock set. All I need is for fall to get here so I do not melt in the garage here in Houston while putting it together.

I like putting it side by side with the other stripped receiver I got with that order, a 1177XXX lead dipped. It is interesting to see the differences between a revision 1 and a revision 17 receiver.
