Significance of 2 P on barrel

I asked this question in another thread, but figured I would start a new one.

What is the significance of 2 P proof marks on a barrel? I have 2 P proofs on my late rock-ola barrel. I see there is an option for 2 P on the carbine club data sheet, so surely this has been researched. Any information or thoughts would be great.
