It may happen quite naturally, but until you have cleaned out the barnacles and all those shots are in the 9 or 10, practice won't hurt! (But the recoil will!) BTW, the front sight on the one I tried out had indeed been painted with luminous yellow paint by the previous owner, a hunter who had used it as a brush rifle. He probably found that target acquisition with the yellow "saddle" was faster than with a blade type foresight.Information
