    Seller says:

1941 Long Branch No 4 Mk I (no star)

This rifle was restored to full military configuration from a sporterized conversion, thus would be classed as a representative specimen. Barrel was extended with the end of another Long Branch barrel securely silver soldered on, rifling is like new, excellent and shiny. 3 numbers match, receiver, bolt and barrel, all original LB proofs are intact. Bluing is excellent, really a very nice looking rifle. 1941 C Broad Arrow marked sling, all parts are correct including LB barrel bands and Mk I LB rear sight. Original receiver pantograph of Long Branch No 4 Mk I 1941 was precision pantographed over original polished markings and it's an excellent job. Buttstock appears new, forend is correct low cut style.
Rifle has the correct 41 LB marked early cocking piece. SN is in 0L19XX range.

More pics available of any area desired, just ask.

    $900 shipped
    Regards,

    "Securely silver-soldered on"?

Is an original Long Branch Mk1 worth that much even, let alone a bubba restoration?
