Just got a nice rifle. Checked the headspacing. Everything checks out. but when I go to fire it the firing pin just barely dents the primer. I've spent many hours looking at this thing and can't figure it out..... The only thing I can find is that I think this bolt end piece has a suspicious looking stop bump that looks like it was welded.... and I'm thinking in the wrong position:




I think that bump stops the firing pin too early and doesn't let it hit the primer with enough force. When I look at this photo:

it looks like the bump should be down quite a bit further. When I measure the top of the bump to the bottom edge of the rod I get 24 mm.... can anybody check theirs and compare ? I'd really appreciate the help.
