Italian Vetterli 10.4 to Swiss Vetterli Compatability

Good Afternoon. Just acquired and Italian Vetterli 10.4 and while cleaning it I began to wonder. That usually means trouble and some money will be spent shortly. Has anyone used the firing pin from the Italian Vetterli 10.4 to make the Swiss Vetterli centerfire. I have done the modification for my Swiss Vetterli but would love to be able to modify the Italian Vetterli firing pin for the Swiss. It looks close. Thanks, Randy

Answered my own question. Italian Vetterli firing pin too short to modify for Swiss Vetterli. Hey, for $40 bucks was worth the shot.
