I went ahead and cleaned out the Safety Plunger Spring channel Hole and sure enough its was caked, but also changed it out with one i found in a small parts drawer (same size) now fits nice with no play. I like the Push Safety. I have a Flip Safety on my post war Carbine and im going to change that one also. I have a Push Safety on my Inland and when I bought this NPM I found one a friend offered it to me. We traded parts, it didnt cost me nothing, just a part he needed that I have several of. Thanks for the help.

Can someone post pictures of how a (disassembled, because an assembled one I have myself) push safety and the correct spring to it looks like? I have a box in the size of a fist which contains 50% springs and 50% of the really small M1icon Carbine parts, probably I have what you're looking for.
