Nice stock, but I have to ask why not get some Raw linseed oil and oil the stock yourself.

I live in an apartment complex, and I do not have the space to be able to properly undertake that project. I looked into it, and it looks like it would have been a fun experience if I had a garage or something.

It came with a buttplate already on it, and the fit seems ok. As far as I can tell, there was no overhang. Hopefully the stock is problem free.
