That's what I had in a note book, but wanted to be sure. SA=3 holes.
I couldn't edit my list on TCCCF so I posted as a reply with added info in the 'Who Made This Stock? post.
Something done, besides the knee deep pile of chains I'm sharpening..... to hot to do much outside.
Got a 16' Maple trunk down roughly 46" across and 53" high, ran in to a seam of gravel in the center from 4' to about 11'.
Stump is clear grain, no voids. Can only figure at one time it must have had a split where the branches spread from the trunk and some how got gravel in it.

    Thx Again Wayne,

I hate sharpening chains even with an electric bench sharpener, I just spend the money and keep new ones on hand! Nothing cuts like a brand new chain.

Until you hit rocks inside a Maple trunk while rip cutting.
    What a nightmare....

Charlie, that was my first "job" at Dad's hardware store in upstate NY in the mid 60's. When I wasn't unloading pallets of paint!
