For those who own a British No. 7 Mark I can you look and let me know if you have a solid or tubed barrel. Skennerton mentions that there were some tubed examples but does not go into how many vs solid (I have one of each). Can you please let me know what you have and the approximate s/n.

Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
Keep in mind that some may have originally had solid barrels that have since been tubed, a fairly common repair for rifles that had suffered damage, usually by corrosion.
