My Inch Pattern FN FAL Trifecta!

Here are a few pics of my Inch-Pattern FN FAL rifles. First off the hop based on their timeline for adoption, is the Canadianicon rifle, followed by the Britishicon, then Australianicon riflles.

8LXXXX Canadian Arsenals FN C1A1 fitted with 4x C1 Sniper Scope and FN C2A1 30-Round LAR Magazine:

UB 62 A14XXXX British Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) L1A1 "Self-Loading Rifle" (SLR) with Sight Unit Infantry Trilux (SUIT) Optical 4x Sight and 30-Round Bren LMG Magazine

AD7XXX Australian Lithgow L1A1 "Self-Loading Rifle" (SLR) with incorrect Canadian Rear Sight. Former Singapore Police Force (SPF) Rifle

Nice pieces. I don't have any Australianicon rear sights remaining but I'm sure someone here does...probably would have to be sourced here in Canadaicon as I don't think you could get it across the border. I also can ask locally, might be able to find one here, if you wished?
    Regards, Jim

That's a stunning collection of Fals I've given up on a C1A1, I really wanted to add one to my Inch pattern collection, but its just impossible in the UK now.

I've a live Enfield 1962 and a Lithgow 1964, plus numerous deactivated examples, but that's were it stops unfortunately.

I assume as you're in Canadaicon, you're not allowed to shoot them anymore?

Correct. It is not so much that you are not permitted to discharge them, it is rather that you cannot get a permit to legally transport them to a range for lawful discharge. There is nothing preventing you from discharging on your own property assuming that you have the land (and back-stop) to safely launch that calibre....

I'm sorry to hear that, at least you have them and such a fine collection is a credit to you. Our lord's and masters make our hobby bloody difficult don't they!

I never made it out to Hannah for a full auto shoot but there was an old boy in Abbottsford who'd let me shoot his live MG42 upon occasion. It had a cyclic rate of $600 per minute.

I might be able to help you with the Aussie rear sight if you need one.
