Can I edit a "for sale" ad on this forum? (beyond the normal, nominal time limit)

Thanks for the first answer. Here's a different question:

Can I edit a "for sale" advertisement (say: days later, after posting) on the Milsurps forum without being a Contributing Member?

Due to several instances of abuse, the ability to EDIT posts for free legacy members was limited to 1 hour after the date of the original post, which gives the average member sufficient time to correct spelling and/or grammatical errors. Only Moderators, Advisory Panelicon and Contributing members are exempt from that restriction. The other primary issue is that if pics are removed from a previously created thread, then any posts following that which make reference to them for the benefit of all members, the entire thread becomes essentially useless, which for a research site wastes a lot of people’s time.

    Regards,
    Doug
