Yes, I first heard about the M84 repro scope offering a few months ago, at least. I wonder if it is any better than their M73B1 repro?
id be leary of the quality, what iv seen from Gibbs hasnt impressed me...soft metal, wrong thread pitch, out of spec...mis leading adds...
buyer beware....sometimes a good deal, isnt such a good deal.
iv posted a few pics of issues with the Gibbs bases, screws ect,...and many many stories of flat out lies from sales reps on the phone..
It was the shooting equivalent of computer 'vaporware' - announced, pictureson the website - but unavailable on the market.Quote:

It will be interesting to see how faithfull the production models are to the real thing. The website picture, which was quite possibly an image of an early prototype, depicts a commercial style "Redfield" base and commercial style rings.
