I have been getting conflicting reports about importation of a L-42 A1 into canada from the USA.I was just talking with a importer who said it was NOT a problem,it is not on the banned list.
Another importer told me point blank they were banned from export from the USA.
Who to believe?
Can somebody put this to rest once and for all for me!
Better yet,has anyone got one for sale in Canada?

You might want to contact Jason at http://www.irunguns.ca/. With his assistance I imported a No 4 Mk 1 (T) from the USA, I'm not sure if a L42A1 is exportable from the states, good luck.
Just talked with a guy who receintly imported one into Canada.They are allowed,no issues.
Up untill jan this year ,for a short time,all 7.62 and 5.56 military rifles were banned from export from the USA.

Yes,It was a L-42.No problems with import.
Yep, they were banned from USA export from approximately November 2010 until January 2013. All OK now.
