Just bought my 2nd Remi 1903-A3, but this one has a lot of marking/cartouches. Double P with circle and square and looks like a W on top. Looks like all marking are correct? for a Remi. Any help would be appreciated.

Most of the stampings are unknown sub-inspection stamps but there are a few I know:
1) The stock originally was mounted on a Smith-Corona, rather than a Remington. The "diamond" forward of the trigger guard, tells me this.
2) The rifle (or the rifle the stock was originally mounted) was inspected or overhauled at San Antonio Arsenal, probably during WWII. The "square p" is also evidence of this.
