Congratulations. A nice example of Commercial/Military 1911A1 mine (#866xxx) is not that far away from yours.
It's a shame that the s/ns don't match.
Would like to see the slide serial number, please.

The "fault" of that COLT is the barrel, as it has got a High Standard barrel instead of a Colt's. :nono:
Unfortunately we all expect to find the "perfect collectible" in mint contidions and we easily tend to forget that these gun have most likely been used in a couple of wars...

Is there a "G" or an "S" on top of the receiver? How about a photo of the top of the receiver? That will tell whether or not your receiver was transferred or not. S=transferred. G=Not transferred. Your slide is from another pistol in the 862xxx serial range that was transferred from commercial sales.
