Is that an Aussie theme happening with the felt hats, chap on Rt seems multi armed with a M1 carbine and what looks to be a Thomson with a stick mag slung on his left shoulder.
I ran around with a bren when a cadet in war games I foolishly thought it would be cool that's until I picked it up was a tad heavy for a 15 y/o but I did get a few of the enemy!
Second man from right seems to have a Burmese Dha in his belt, would give more reach than a Kukri. Here's mine...

Far as I know. The Nepalese and Burmese Gurkha's were not related as far as I've read.

Interesting, then Dha would be his national weapon. They equated a Katana and I watched a bladesmith making one. Even though his lecture was native language you could understand what he was referring to while he demonstrated. Properly used, would give the Samurai a handful on the field.
