update on CMP 03 and A3 barrels

im working on a customers A3, with a CMP new barrel.
over all finish is nice, color a bit off, but no big deal, extractor and sight key notch is good,
however, barrel wont index correctly, still too far to do with a wrench, shoulder needs cleaned up just a tad, to take it up home.
no witness mark on the barrel, so a sighting eyeball will be needed, ill stake a witness mark when finished.
yet to see a 1903 barrel, im sure ill have one in my hands soon enough.
will find out today id the sight, extractor cut are all in line right, 4 groove rifling looks nice, im sure its short chambered as well.

Any markings on the barrels?

none..ill try and install it on Weds, i have to use a buddies lathe, to turn the shoulder back a tad.
all these years, and this is the first 03 that ill have to turn a shoulder back on to fit a barrel,.even on a few custom sporter rifles, in weird cal, iv not had to turn the shoulder..
iv had to draw file a couple to get them up, but never this bad.
