Isn't that a Type II trigger housing? Shouldn't that s/n range have a Type III ? I've got a Type I Inland trigger housing that has the "oil hole" on the left side behind the mag catch. Was that commonly added during arsenal rebuilds? According to the Riesch book, the hole didn't appear until the Type V came out.

The SG contract receiver was manufactured earlier than the SN suggests

USGI, note the receiver doesnt have the operating slide spring hole bored all the way through...started around 540,000

Yes, sights were filed down to raise the point of impact, but someone filed on the back of the sight blade for some reason, blending it back in with a curve. The only reason I can think of that this may have been done during it's service was to possibly remove damage to the sight blade, in which case it could have been a field-expedient repair.
