I took a break from collecting for the past 6-7 year. Was in the Army and that had me quite busy...... and I just retired in August so back at it I am! I started looking thru my stashed away stuff and I had forgotten how many project rifles and parts I had! I have probably 15-20 Enfield in various stages of restoration. Luckily, I had picked up a bunch of SMLE and No4 stocks and new old stock safety's, rear sights and such when they were not so expensive :)

Well, it was a 1949 Ishapore that had an REL scope/mount on it. I can get some pics and post them a little later. Not sure if the Indians or Bubba did it, but for $300 I didn't care. OK, back to one I just got. Like I mentioned, the kid I bought it from told me his dad has one with the scope he is using to hunt deer and bear with and I am trying real hard to pry it from him. He said his dad bought it from the same shop. I think I need to make a visit to this shop, soon.Quote:
