I would absolutely agree with that last sentence. Okay, assuming you had two powders to go with -- BL-C(2) and H335 -- what would you suggest then as a starting point? All of the published data and software that utilizes either powder is leading me to higher charges and I want to avoid that.

I just got back from a trip . When time permits I will look through the 500 page reloading manual I wrote and my data sheets for your requests .

The best way to formulate what recipe your rifle likes is a ladder test they are a piece of cake to do you then can fine tune the powder weight to tighten the group even more.
I do a 2 stage one for my F class is a powder one then do a jump ladder test.
I do the jump one the same format as the powder 1 shot of each jump at its nominated bulls eye allowing cool down between shots usually around 90 seconds so 1 shot at 10 jam wait 1 shot at 30 jump wait 1 shot 70 jump for 3 shots/target, then cool the barrel right off then repeat.
