Probably best then, hope the other one is better. This isn't what I expected.
Sad, I was one that recommended his parts before. I had a set here that looked good but wouldn't fit anything but the correct diameter barrel. Sad...disappointing.
You don't suppose you ended up...
That might do it...
For all the world, I thought they were electro spot welded? Permanent fixture...
That's a website warning from your anti virus protection.
Yes, I had one here and if you don't use the original diameter barrels it's sloppy. They apparently made one also to fit slim barrels although I can't prove it.
Looks good now.
If you come close to the original thickness it should work, the originals weren't noted for rigidity either. The shortcomings of the handguard getting snagged were well known. They look better than...
If you can find a tinsmith shop or any good metal shop, they should be able to do that bend. Take the muzzle part along and explain it needs to fit and they should be able to comply...
All 12 ga should fit.
Dress those back with a fine half round file. Keep working at it gently until everything fits again.
If you mean the wood, yes it slides on.
To remove the wood from the pump, you need a special spanner to remove the nut at front. If you look at the schematic you see the part(3) is unscrewed from part (1) and the wood slides off. The...
Agreed...
Then you should actually be OK. It only needs to be full length, you aren't going to the battle field with it. Maybe just local protection. It'll work for that.
I just looked and found two. Both measure 17" length. I'll bet they're from 870 Remington that was converted with a mag extension. I'd just send it in a bubble envelope.
Seriously, I have a couple here I think that would work. Just about anything 12 ga will do.
Looks like someone was at it after the factory.
You had Tom Doniphon here, there are none better. He told you what was what.
The blue is very nice for 1946, maybe reblued? The barrel should be a 20"? Then measure the Cutts and see if it's the extra 8" by itself. I expect someone took a riot and added a Cutts. You still...
