I don't see the problem. Add a few feet on the back of the garage or some such and pour some concrete. You could use cinder blocks filled too. Then you have a one car garage for a gun lockup.

I never saw any shortfall with carbine ammo, at least the stuff I loaded. I loaded lead GC and the strike at 200 on steel was resounding. All I had to do was hit it...
