Don't think I've ever seen them made from Ross rifles before.
I first wondered if it would be a holdover from the past. Not uncommon... I couldn't find anything about them though. The bulging pockets reminded me of the cargo pockets of the pants. I thought...
I'm hoping one of the old RVN hands here will fill us in on what exactly the story on that is. The M1 will get the job done however.
When I first looked at it, I wondered. The wing has such a strange cant to it I wondered how it could actually fly...
I wouldn't think either case. I saw this pic and just took it to be what it appears to be...a posed pic by a photog on the spot making his picture as interesting as he could.
I did but chose...
A link to an article that used this pic and another with the same man. You also find the captions included... https://www.thearmorylife.com/the-m1c-and-m1d-garand-sniper-rifles/
Nice rifle...very nice.
Nice old rifle with lots of character marks.
Nice old piece, just about perfect. Nice...
That's exactly it...some good, some not so much.
Mostly 'cause you ain't 20 anymore. Careful...
Should have used the kinetic bullet puller, he'd have come right out.
Here's a guy likely knew Basil L. Plumley personally. Fought three wars with him...
Neat, bucket for borscht...and coffee.
With enough searching I found a bigger pic, they LOOK to say "ABE"...
I don't know about that. I have a close associate here that has over 33,000 trader ratings with Ebay and does excellent business...that has been given unfair negative feedback that he was able to...
Huge mix of early and late war gear there. Buckle top boots and leggin's, 1907 sling and both flat slider and late slider slings...bino case plus nice brown gloves must be a Lt. Early M41 jacket...
A pleasure...
The pics...
I can post pics for you if you send them to me...
I hear you but...this one might go along with the Khyber Pass rifles. I do have an interest in it for that area.
Early gas cylinder lock screw under our noses there?
Two BARs there on the left, look like the early model. Flash tube and checkered forend...nice old guns. Not much of a stretch to find them with these guys after all.
Right click on the pic and...
Nice...
I'd say so.
