Thats very good IMO. My Round 2 Service Grade is Ithaca frame, Rem Rand Slide. Barrel is 7791193 no date stamp contract barrel.

What CMP Grade is your pistol? What are the Barrel markings?

The recoil spring that came in mine is ~6", yours is slightly longer. New Colt recoil spring I put my CMP M1911A1 is ~7 1/8 ".

Don't see any markings on the extractors. Appear to be Type III though. Purchased them from CMP years ago with other spares, and also recently from Sarco. Didn't think...

Don't know what is causing the extractor in my S'G' to break.

Happened 3 times so far. The lip that catches onto the case head is where it breaks off. Bolt is S' G' flat type.

Cleaned chamber...
