Woomera?
Dear lord, that's as rough as guts! But if it shoots well, and at the price you paid, you're well ahead of the game.
Remarkable work, well done! You do realise we'll expect a range report soon? :super:
Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend - 47 is way too young, thoughts go out to her family.
Frankly for the volumes i shoot, it would never be a cost saving excercise - makes sense to buy the right sized projectiles in the first place! Appreciate the advice though - what's the old saying?...
So these dies will work to resize copper (not lead) projectiles? For example - would it resize a .308 projectile to ,311/.312?
The Martini is always a ton of fun. I have a Cadet conversion in .222R that shoots like stink :D . You can learn a lot mucking around with these old guns.
That's a cracking museum just outside of Cairns. I had a chance to get up there last year, a vey interesting and VERY big collection. Some pretty nifty souvenirs too...
Good to hear. Hoping the next round of treatment has the desired effect. Thinking of you both, with all the best wishes.
Thinking of you both - sounds like the news so far is good. It sounds like she's in good hands, both medically and with a loving husband.
Take one day at a time, you'll get there.
Badger, stop apologising for keeping the Gorram site going! You've done good.

We spent ours at the local memorial, a big crowd this year given the lockdown last year. A nice touch from the local aerodrome, a spitfire (or a hurricane- not 100% sure) passing...

We did the same at our place. A few neighbours, and that was it. Certainly a more introspective experience.
Lest We Forget
A social distancing round?
From one hospital worker to another - stay safe bloke, and well done.

Welcome to the club! As previous postrrs have mentioned, some linseed oil on the stock is a must.. Other than that, good on you for posting here- you have plenty of resources to assist with your new...
I saw that and it reminded me a little bit of the stock carvings the maori soldiers in the ANZAC corps used to do on their rifles..
I think the British No 7 Mk1 Land Bayonet picks up a guernsey as well... Trying to be all things to all people and ends up being not so good at anything...
I always think the no vote from those guys was one of the most mature responses I have ever heard of. Sure, if you want to come and fight a truly hard fight, come and be welcome. A totally different...
Thanks for the pickup Bigduke. I have to admit I wasn't 100% on the terminology here, especially since the muzzle ring on the no 7 never went anywhere near the muzzle on the no4, and the pommel is a...
Thank you Jim and Brian!
Hi all, just a quick question if I may. Was the bayonet loop/ring and the rear locking mechanism on the enfield no 7 bayonet blued or painted with suncorite? I thought they were painted, as that was...
