One thing to be aware of is not to dry fire these. The firing pin can scuff the edge of the chamber; which will cause extraction problems.

Have you tested the rifle yet? Before you sell the cooey sight; I would suggest trying it with the notch of the standard rear sight removed.

I see the PH on the barrel, so yes it would be Parker Hale who lined the barrel. I also have a 1918 PH lined .22 trainer.
They are so much fun to shoot and decent accuracy.
