O well, we make do with what they issue us, not so?
Thank you BAR and Lee Enfield.
It just seems so unwieldy, must have taken getting used to and then it didn't matter.
I know this is off topic, but what made the Brits decided on that extremely long flash hider?
We all know that it doesn't exist if no pictures have been posted ...
I acknowledge such item but in my time as a soldier never saw it. MAGs just don't seem to break or need anything more than cleaning and oil. Of course, we aren't talking hours of sustained fire. ...
Note. Practise shooting while wearing the webbing, it isn't normally comfortable stuff wear while trying to shoot accurately.
Usually in firearms with violent extraction cycle, to prevent cases sticking in the chamber or rim torn off.
How does it shoot? Is it accurate anough as is?
South Africa wise, the 7,62 Brownings in the armour never stopped working, the MAG similarly. Ben 7,62 as an interim was less successful but still worked until there were sufficient MAGs.
IIRC the first one was to pull the belt tight and get the pawl/extractor thingy to get hold of the first cartridge, the second was to chamber said cartridge while pawl/extractor thingy grabbed hold...
I would also rush to get it. Keep us up to date, with the story behind the gun and the purchase, and later the shooting experience.
Having shot thousands of military 303 through several No 1 and No 4 rifles, I have never seen a muzzle flash. Granted, my shooting has never been in the dark, only low light every now and then. Or...
Quite right, the correct ejector may make all the difference, but in firearm with so many different components it is wise to change one thing at a time until you find the solution.

The Bernadelli isn't seen in IPSC or special forces, where optics are the norm. It is in another class, relatively small numbers. Think of thousands of rounds a month if you're active in...
Safety features on artillery projectiles prevents early activation that handling in the field might cause. This would include transport in trucks, trains, aircraft, etc. Imagine the banging and...
We would be excited to know what you found. And photos.
Very plausible excuse to test missiles as well as a pilot got to fire a very expensive piece of military equipment, which mightn't be possible under normal budget restraints.
The question nobody seems to continue asking: In how many crimes in this state have theses firearms been used? If so, why are you banning them?
Bit more to that round. Should seems a bit different? Somebody playing around?
My immediate reaction would be ejector mark. That, of course, would depend in the gun it was fired in. Such a mark indicates quite violent ejection.
The IPSC fraternity would know in detail. Such a mounting would place it a bit high over the bore axis, muzzle flip and holes in the target lower than sighted as close distances, the same as for...
The gun has a yolk?
Working with firearms, shooting a lot or handling them, it is only when you have an accidental discharge. Where the bullet stops will be a testimony to those who trained you and how well you...
I venture it has to do with NMH - not made here.
