The long walk ashore they suffered terribly when first landing on Peleliu & Tarawa with a low tides and the reefs.

Roger can you ascertain from the pic what wood my T is stocked in it's by all accounts according to the records from what I have learned here a Sept 1944 build with it's original as issued MkIII...
Why not put a cheap 4 power scope on it like a Weaver to get you mobile then save up for a good MK 3/32 scope that way you can shoot the rifle then on sell the scope when you get your proper No32.
Have you tried those mags in your well used No.4 as if they cycle fine in that then its not the feed lips that are the issue but something else I always have 10 dummy rounds made up for checking...
Just to add the the confusion the stamping under the bolt handle appears to me as M47/C which if I recall is for BSA Shirely and the sniper T's.
