Beautiful work. I look forward to seeing how this turns out! Are you planning on selling the brackets at some point?
Truly amazing work. You should be incredibly proud!
Merci, @tatou
If you have a second made, I would happily pay. I'm in the same boat. Silver solder would probably work best.
Feel free to shoot me a message directly! Thank!
@Daan Kemp
I wholeheartedly agree! The more I think about it, it seems a pretty selfless gesture.
@Roger Payne
Is there a scope you don't have lying around!? Thanks for the measurements,...
@Roger Payne
This was more informed response I was hoping for! Though my corn flakes deserved better!

I have seen true Aldis scopes in good/great condition go for over $1000. I can't say I'm much of an expert on these things. If it is a post war Aldis lookalike, and the internals are functional, I...

Absolute beauties!
Looking for a nice sporter stock, not a cut down military stock. Thanks for looking!
I don't have a lathe on hand, but I might be able to use a friend's. Thank you for this info.

Hello Gents,
I am in the process of restoring a No1Mk3. I have cobbled together a stock from the rifle's original sporterized stock and some old bits I've had laying around. The issue is where the...
Hello all,
I thought I'd show a little bit of my current project - cleaning up a No4Mk1/3 that came from a pile of "relics" from Sarco.
I started first by cleaning it up with mineral spirits...
Thank you very much!
Still searching high and low.
Thank you. Much appreciated.b
Sorry for the delay, here are the...
I'm beginning to notice that... I reached out to that gentleman you referred me to, but he never wrote me back.
I'm hoping the Baltimore antique gun show has one somewhere hidden in tbe stacks. ...
Hello all,
I was wondering what sort of buttplate the Remington Lee 1879 uses. Mine is in awful shape but I see that it looks like a simple trapdoor plate. Does it use an 1873 size plate? Or...
They will not sell to C&R unfortunately -for the "relics" that is I tried to purchase one but they told me it was not a C&R purchase.. just an FYI
Looking for a nose cap for a Long Lee/Lee Metford. Thank you.
As stated, looking for a Lee Cook magazine that will fit in Remington lee with magazine notch cutout.
