Good thing I'm not in charge of the drone program! They'd all have a proximity switch that triggers electronic jamming at 200 yards and 10# of enclosed C4 at 25 yards.

No, I didn't even know this type of chamber existed. What would be the purpose? Obviously, the mfg'ing expense would be much higher so I must assume some type of benefit...

Not having a military background (and I did - not- stay at a Holiday Inn last night), I'd think shells like these (155 mm?) would be full fused and ready to go...
Yes, it most certainly did. KK is one of my favorite writers/singers, although it seems most incongruous...

I bought a Boyd's stock for my early Plainfield M-1 Carbine, it required some epoxy filling at the nose for the bayo clamp to actually clamp, but it's a really nice piece of wood. Of course, YMMV......
Forty five or so years ago, I worked with a WWII Navy vet that had 5 US ships shot out from under him. And he was there to tell the stories if I hadn't been so young and ignorant!

This makes me think, when I was a pup growing up in upstate NY, I would be "coaxed" awake around 5 am to shovel out a 12 x 150 foot...
He looks as out of place as I'd feel in that line up, for sure!

AFAIK, oxalic acid (wood bleach) can only take wood back to it's natural state (before oiling). If that's not light enough, I'd guess you're out of luck. I cannot recall any treatment to "lighten"...
Those cases look like someone used them to "bite down on" while suffering an amputation...

Wow, that's hitting too close to home. :crying: :crying: :crying:
Prayers for her fam!

Wonder how it does on solid rock...

Eye opener! Man, that's sad! Air shows are not the place for nepotism. :move eek: And the pilots not voicing any concerns is ... disheartening at best.

I have noooo idea what the film is, maybe cause it looks like him?

I thought from the beginning, mayhaps a medical issue from the Cobra pilot?
