If there are only 2 known examples you would not be able to replace it for $5000, or $10,000 or ..................
So what is the 'value' ?
Iv'e seen a few CC prefix BSA No5 and heard of just one DD prefix, but, who knows if BSA had two production lines running concurrently.

It is not a sight part, it is a tool that is used during assembly - I think it is something like a venier to get the sight level / square.
