This is the upgraded version of the MAS 45 trainer which is currently used to train FrenchArmy snipers whenever 12.7 mm/.50 BMG shooting ranges are unavailable.
The chassis was made by PGM Précision, a French company specializing in precision rifles. The 30 MOA scope mount, the bipod and the rear monopod were also made by PGM, so this is a mostly French-made setup that is not likely to be seen in the U.S. anytime in the near future...
The scope used by the French Army is a GermanSteiner 3-15x50 scope, though.
The setup is meant to emulate the 12.7 mm PGM Hécate II French Army sniper rifle - its ergonomics, to be more precise.
