    Which M1 / M1903 rifle to Chose?

    Hi
Need some quick advice. Been offered a chance to buy 4 rifles, but at the price being offered can only afford two.
Choice one is between two mix master Garands both same general condition one is a 1944 Winchester with a 43 SA barrel, the other is H&R with mostly H&R barrel /parts same price my pick - which one both have nearly identical TE/ME.

Choice two is between tow M1903 and a M1903A3 first is a SA M1903 made in 1921 with a HS -44 barrel. Second is a Smith Corona A3 nearly all correct parts both in same shape but the A3 is TE1 ME1 and the 03 is a TE2/ME2
So I need a rudder stir from experts which to chose? And why can anyone help deal is mine only for two days then someone else has dibs.
    Thanks
    Remo

Remo, I'm not an expert, but I was in a similar situation a few months ago. When deciding between rifles (3 M1903s, at the time), the seller asked me if I wanted a shooter or a wall hanger. He said to think about what I wanted the rifle for, then get back to him. I found it sage advice, as I was wanting a shooter, not just a collectable rifle.

Good luck with your decision. Please let us know what happens.
