This is a Danish icon

I got when you could get Danes. She is in wonderful condition. Like new condition. It is a navy. I don't think it was even fired. It is a Winchester and the number on the stock matches the reciever. I almost couldn't believe it when I opened it up. I'll try and upload some pictures. Rog

Didn't know they were ever that nice! Every one I've seen looks like it lost a couple of wars. The Danes seem to have gotten a lot of some kind of use out of 'em.

Although I'm not a U.S. collector, I was offered one of these a few years ago as well. It was such a lovely example of a Garand icon

that I simply couldn't refuse.

Believe it or not, it came though CMP icon
