A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I've got a PH5E I'd pop apart to check if you think that'd help.

In a pinch, get yourself a set of numbered drill bits and use the shank to get you in the ballpark. Stick the shank in the detent hole in the gallows arm like a pin gauge.

Thanks for the heads up, I dont why I didn't think of that.
But please dont take anything apart. Ive got a box of them turned over to me and they have been completely dismantled into an awful mess of parts to the last bit.
Ill post up for what I determine after I get them sorted for what goes where and how!
