Those guys are always on the high side though. They'll let it sit until someone buys it.

Can’t remember who, but either Liberty Tree Collectors or Empire Arms had one a couple months back for around $2,000 USD... Didn’t have the scope pads tho.

Yes, it is a Trials #4T. I used to own it and sold it along with a large bunch of other guns to Marstar this summer. It has the pads but has been through a field refit or maybe FTR at some point in its existence, as one would expect for a rifle that age ( I believe all were issued) so is wearing a new bolt, new barrel if memory serves me and new stock/furniture. By new I do not mean brand new--it has been around the block. However, the receiver etc is a trials #4T. I had its serial number added to the list a couple of years ago.

Here is a link to a dropbox folder of the photos I had taken of it. I had others as well with the wood off but can't find them at the moment. The cutoff if memory serves me is the incorrect type so was likely a later replacement for the original.

I was looking through my photo files for some other gun photos and happened across the folder (mis-labeled ) of photos for this trials rifle. I have uploaded them to that Dropbox folder--they are quite extensive. The rifle has a scrubbed LB proofed bolt, and wears Fazakerly furniture. A trials rifle, but has as one would expect been around the block--it was a rough block called WWII.......
