    Lots of photos taken. Ready for the WAR sneaking out with a MkV. The library was mind blowing this morning the head is still spinning. I would like to thank Norman,Peter and Cath and all the others for making my visit so enjoyable loved the office humour.Will have many questions If you dont mined Peter to fill in some of the gaps when you had to attend to real work not sticky beak Aussies.

    While you are in the country theres a Bannerman .303 training/drill rifle I spotted in the REME online photo collection that was mis labeled as a Lee Enfield Rifleicon.

    I contacted the museum , and they said they intended to dig the rifle out and examine it, but I haven't heard any more about it.

    Hopefully they have the actual rifle rather than just a mislabeled photo with the number of a different rifle. These are very rare. Well worth a look.
