Problem with Yahoo
Well the company is changing the way they can recover you Yahoo ID should you forget it. The change over screen requests a mobile phone number so that they can contact you with your ID. The information noted that if the information is not supplied I will no longer be able to use the e mail portion of Yahoo.
I do not have a mobile phone nor do I intend to get one. I entered my land line number and of course it was rejected.
If you use Yahoo and you have not made the change over, think about your giving away you mobile phone number and who would have access to it. Remember the Do Not Call option? I still get calls. Especially from those wanting to lower my credit card interest. When I ask who they are, they hang up. I get 2 or 3 of these call a day, sometimes up to 3 days per week. I am tired of it.
How about you folks out there? Same or different problem?

When my Yahoo changed the other day I don't recall it asking for my mobile number. To me that is just a way of them trying to make money off of us. they will probably charge each time they message you. It kept trying to change all of my other stuff on my computer till I deleted part of it. As for the do not call part, I tell them if they want me to try them then they have to mail something to me and to not call me again. But I won't give out any information to them. If they have an unlisted number they have my address. And if it is a card you have, just tell them that you don't want them to call. Hope this helps
Best Regards

Yahoo phony emails, have a friend who got email, didn't reply, but he emailed yahoo and they answered back that nobody from yahoo emailed him,if you get any kind of email that wants you to supply info, don't do it.
I just checked google, any of these like any yahoo message anyone getting.
yahoo email asking for call back on cell phone - Google Search
look for the one dated June 5,2009.
If they give you a phone number, type it in google,it will tell you about it,don't use the site that wants a fee.
