Inglis parts

I posted this question in the wrong place, sorry. I was wondering if there is a source of parts for an old Inglis Hipower that would make it safe for me to shoot mine on occasion? It's a teflon finished one, slotted for stock model imported by Lever Arms 20+ years ago.I'm talking <100rds plinking per year.

I'm not 100% sure how true this is but the dealer that sold me my Inglis HP told me all HP parts are interchangeable. I also have a newer model 35 and it sure looks the same although I have not tried switching parts.
Marstar supplies Browning parts as I recall.

If you're talking about Inglis HP35 parts being interchangable, you may be right. Parts from Belgian or other makers may not be without some fitting.

Pre about 1960 most, if not all ?, Inglis & Browning parts are interchangeable.

What is wrong with your pistol that needs to have parts replaced? The teflon coating is Not an original Inglis finish.
My carry gun is a 50s vintage HP, but I also have a sighted & slotted Inglis that I shoot.

Inglis barrels and screws are NOT interchangeable with modern FN parts. There might be one or two other parts, but that's all I recall without checking.

The teflon coating was applied by Belgium Navy .>30yrs ago i believe. Saw some discussion about it in Arms Collector magazine awhile back. A dealer in Vancouver brought a whole bunch of them in 25 years ago. i agree not factory original, but authentic and "keepable" (I don't like collectable, that means I can't shoot it). The extractor on the Inglis doesn't look like the one on recent production Browning. Nothing broke on pistol, but I like having a spare of some parts.

Yep, spare parts are a must! Beats me for what, but???
I've been shooting and carrying a Browning M 35 for 40 yrs. I've never needed any parts and I don't have any.

FWIW I have had a mid 60's Browning HiPower and 3 spare Inglis magazines. The Inglis Magazines feed ok but they tend to activate the slide stop with one round still in the magazine.
