Need advice for trafic situation
As my wife and I were leaving a grocery store we encountered a situation that I need some advice on what should I have done. Situation: a car ran a stop sign to get in front of us to enter the main street passing in front of the store. They then proceeded to sit in the intersection, not allowing anyone behind them to exit the parking lot. I honked my horn when there was no trafic coming and they proceed to flip me the bird. Again I honked and they again repeated their jesture. Luckly for me I could back up and use a second exit. I tried to get their license plate number but the rear plate was covered by some circus sign and the front was missing. All I know was that it was 2 young girls driving a grey chevy nova from Indiana. Should I have called the police or what? Thanks.

Why bother? Just some punk kids who think they own the world. Let them learn 'road rage' the hard way from somebody else.

wait until they park and go in. Then key the hell out of their car, and maybe let the air out of at least two tires so the spare wont help. Maybe snap off the radio antenna too.
Im just kidding!!

We all encounter these kind of situations quite frequently. Circumstances dictate what I will do. In the case you mention, I think I would have gone up to the drivers door and let them know they were not doing the right thing, and then to the back of their car and got the license plate number and maybe advise the police of the situation. You must be mindful, however, if they were from out of state, signing a complaint against them would probably wind up being more trouble for you than for them. In most cases, however, just remember that we all make mistakes and just thank God that all the folks around us are on their toes when we make ours. Most things are petty and not worth getting upset about. Sometimes, however, letting them know firsthand that they are morons can be quite satisfying.

No, no, no... its not a rural setting its a urban situation. Keying cars is just Soooooo readneck.... in urban settings protocol dictates that you use a tire iron!!!
Seriously, you never know what some nutjob is doing, is on or has. Number one rule of self defense is avoidance. Leaving through a different exit is the right answer - and its one that you can defend in court especially if they were to follow you and try to start trouble. Making the first step the correct one means you don't have to explain steps (or shots) two through six to a jury of 12.

It's over. Forget about it. If you run into a similar situation, leave the scene. You will not accomplish anything by arguing with such people. Life is to short to waste time fooling around with fools whose conduct predicts that they are candidates for a Darwin award. JMHO. Sincerely. BruceV.

Actually, I think it's three rights make a left. HAHA
I think you really did the right thing. You never know when some nutjob may be armed and looking for a fight. Avoidance before confrontation!!

On a situation like this, I just go back to an old saying, what goes around, comes around. Acts like this will return to them I am sure. Don't make their stupidity yours.
